Nancy Carter-price, Reiki Master at Journey to Wellness provides a healing environment – one that is optimal for you to replenish, renew, and recover. Reiki is all about nurturing your mind, body, and spirit; and about empowering you in your healing process.

Reiki is not a diagnostic tool, nor a medical intervention. Reiki focuses on the entire person, creating a bridge between integrative therapies and the medical system. Reiki is sometimes called a complementary therapy because it is often sought in the context of a medical diagnosis or health event. By bringing Reiki bedside in hospital settings or to peoples’ homes while recovering from surgery or illness, Journey to Wellness becomes part of the process toward your healing and wellness.

As a Master Reiki practitioner, I work with each client to create a safe and nurturing environment for your healing. I believe that healing is yours to be had and that there are as many ways that healing manifests as there are people who seek healing. I welcome you to read more about my practice and my experience.

I hope that you’ll learn more about Reiki and get in touch with me if you have any questions, or if you’d like to schedule an appointment.

I’m glad you came and I look forward to our time together.

I have been practicing Reiki since1998 throughout the Pioneer Valley. I received my level 1 & 2 trainings in both Usui /Tibetan Reiki & Karuna ® Reiki in 1998 at Holyoke Community College. I then advanced my training in the Usui/Tibetan form in private classes, receiving a certification as a Master/Teacher, in 1998. I received my Master Teacher certification in the Karuna Reiki style from The International Center for Reiki Training in Minnesota, the following year.

I offer Reiki in a variety of settings. As the owner of Journey to Wellness, I offer private sessions in my office in Northampton, MA.

I also practice as an independent contractor with the Cancer Connection, in Northampton, MA. Through these affiliations, I provide individual sessions for clients with a cancer diagnosis, their family members, support persons and caretakers. I also facilitate the Cancer Connection Monthly Reiki Nights with a Reiki Team of 16 skilled practitioners who volunteer their services for 2 hours every month providing 20-30 minute Reiki sessions for Cancer Connection participants.

Another focus of my practice is work with survivors of various types of trauma. In 2000, I worked collaboratively with two other Reiki practitioners to create an Empowerment Through Reiki program as part of the Greenfield Survivors Project, a program of NELCWIT. This six month Reiki Level 1 class was provided to participants of the Survivors Project.

Nancy is a devoted, caring practitioner who always works from her warm, loving heart. I appreciate the honor and respect she brings to her calling. I feel blessed and fortunate to have been led to her. Thank you seems inadequate but thank you Nancy.”
